Regional Center for Conservation and Restoration Unit
The Regional Center for Conservation and Restoration Unit is responsible for managing and organizing all activities related to conservation and restoration training, enhancing the technical and professional capacities of staff, and ensuring the implementing of work in a professional and integrated manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise the organization of conferences and workshops.
- Prepare scientific and research studies, analyze results, and contribute to the development of policies and programs.
- Organize and coordinate training and capacity-building programs for staff in the field of conservation and restoration across the Arab region.
- Monitor and supervise conservation and restoration operations, ensuring the selection of appropriate materials and tools in accordance with technical standards.
- Build and strengthen relationships with relevant local and international entities to ensure effective cooperation and coordination in the Center’s activities.
- Oversee fieldwork including design, maintenance, restoration, and rehabilitation, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
