Office of the Director General

The Director General&rsquo's Office, under the direct supervision of the Director General of the Department of Antiquities, is responsible for managing the office and ensuring its smooth operation. It oversees all aspects of work to facilitate the Director General’s duties and to manage all official affairs, including coordinating the Director General’s schedule, organizing all tasks, meetings, correspondence, administrative matters, and visitors in accordance with established instructions, principles, and standards. Key responsibilities of the Office include coordinating and monitoring preparations for conferences, workshops, and meetings, preparing agendas, drafting minutes, following up on the implementation of directives issued by the Director General, and coordinating related work with the relevant directorates. The office is also responsible for documenting and archiving activities and serving as a liaison between the Director General and international organizations, ministries, institutions, and directorates within the Department of Antiquities to facilitate operational matters.
