Jordan's rich and diverse archaeological and cultural heritage is of national and international importance, and will be preserved, interpreted and protected in accordance with the best international standards and presented in a sustainable manner. The vision depends on the application of the following values:

Considering the archaeological sites in Jordan the best in the world because of the quality of these sites.
Managing the archaeological heritage in line with international best practices and contributing significantly to the Jordanian economy and the well-being of local communities.
The roles of stakeholders in the management of archaeological heritage are organized, and responsibilities are clearly defined, but operate within a framework that allows for full integration of management practices and is supported by amended legislation.
Citizens' appreciation of Jordan's rich and widely diverse archaeological heritage.
