The “Museum of traditional daily life" has been established since 1975, and its purpose was to preserve and study our local heritage, and to preserve it from extinction and transfer it to our children and future generations.
The museum was established in 1971 under the chairmanship of Mrs. Saadia al-Tal. It is situated on the eastern side of the Roman Amphitheater in Amman.
The museum aims at collect Jordanian and Palestinian folklore from all regions of Jordan; to preserve this legacy from extinction and to present it to the world and our future generations.
