• Al Zarqa Governorate

Located about 25 km to the east of Amman , named after the Zarqa River, which passes through it.
Flourished in the Islamic period for the passage of the Shami pilgrimage route,most important archaeological sites: Jabal al Mutawaq ,khirbet al Rusaifah wich belonging to the Bronze Age, and  number of palaces and castles such as al Azraq Desert Castle, Qasr Shabib, Qasr el Hallabat ,Qasr Uwained and Hammam el Sarkh
